When the path that always worked stops working, there is still a way through.
Grief, dying, divorce, the quiet reckonings that arrive without warning. These are thresholds that were never meant to be crossed alone. I’m Katie Quinn. For 14 years, I’ve helped people find their way through.
You are standing at a threshold you did not choose.
Someone you love is dying, or has died. A marriage is ending. A diagnosis has changed everything. Or the life you built, the one that looked right on paper, has quietly stopped feeling like yours.
You are smart. You are capable. You have always been the person who handles things.
But this isn’t yielding to any of it.
The grief won’t move. The people around you love you, but they’re too close, or too tender, or too lost in their own version of the same thing. The therapist can only go a certain distance, and then the road runs out.
You are not broken. You are at a doorway.
What if the goal was never to get over it?
Most people arrive believing there are two options: stay in the grief, or leave it behind. So they wait for the day it lifts, and when it doesn’t come, they decide something is wrong with them. But there’s another option.
You can be in a different relationship with what happened.
The loss stays real. What changes is how you are able to hold it. People find that compassion can sit where the hard grief was, and that laughter can show up in a conversation about dying without disrespecting anyone. Not instead of the grief. Alongside it.
You are allowed to stay exactly where you are; plenty of people do. But if some part of you is calling you forward, there is another way, and you do not have to know how it works to walk through the door.
I have sat at this threshold with thousands of people.
Hi, I’m Katie. I’m a medium, a death doula, and a guide for people in transition. I’ve been doing this work for 14 years, and I’ve sat with roughly 5,000 clients in living rooms, at bedsides & in groups on the North Shore and beyond. Before this, I ran my own CFO and accounting business, so I know the traditional path from the inside.
I’m grounded in both, which is why I can help you cross between them.
There is nothing you can bring that will surprise me. You do not need the right words, right beliefs, or any idea what you think about mediumship. And if something is funny, we are allowed to laugh.
How we begin.
Reach out.
Book a session or schedule a conversation first if you’d like to talk first before committing to anything. For death doula support, we always begin with a conversation.
We meet.
In our session, we’ll sit down together, often on the floor, often with crystals placed around us to map what’s happening between people – living and otherwise. It is less formal than you are imagining.
Something shifts.
Most people leave feeling lighter than they came in, with clarity and a real sense of holding something they can use. Many continue, particularly with Truth Readings, to receive continued support and clarity over months.
Four ways in. The same work underneath.
Mediumship
Connection with the people you have loved and lost. Their messages, their presence, their fully evolved selves, and the relief of finally being able to put down the hows and whys.
Group Events & Live Demonstrations
A Small Group you host for your own people, or a public Large Group you attend. Grief, love and maybe even laughter in the same evening, which surprises people every time.
Death Doula Support
Truth Readings
A session, or a guided practice over months, to help you access your own higher self. To recognize what you actually want, trust your own knowing, and take real steps toward the life that is yours.
What becomes possible.
Someone came to me not long ago who was nervous even to sit down. She was not sure she believed in any of it, and not sure she wanted to find out.
What came through was about her parents. By the end she was not carrying the same relationship she had walked in with. The hard grief had loosened into something softer, with compassion in it, and she left with a real sense of how she wanted to live from there. Nothing about her history changed. Her relationship to it did.
That is the shape of it, more often than not. Ground under you, not because the circumstances changed but because you did.
A note on experience

When you’re ready.
You do not have to know which door is yours. You only have to be curious enough to begin.
